Lets see how this goes....

I've never done this kind of thing before, so bare with me as I get the hang of this! My name is Maquel, who is married to a a great man, and we have two wonderfully rotten children, Ty & Tuck. I am a stay at home mom, and my children give me inspiration to try new things and to see the world as they do.

I am a FB geek, and I am always hearing, "Love watching your post on FB about your kids, you really should start a blog" after hearing this about 60 times I've decided why not! Now you have to understand we are not just a normal family with two kids and a dog. Our children are 10 months and 4 days apart, and we just had to throw in a puppy, Ava, to the mix, WHY!?!!

This first blog I will try not to let it get too crazy, and just give a briefing on our family and we will soon get into the nitty gritty! :)

My husband was raised on a cattle farm, with his parents and 3 older brothers. I was raised in the "city" of Bloomington, then in my early teen years we moved in the outer part of Bloomington where we had horses, chickens, sheep, and at one point a couple cows. So it will NEVER be an option for our children to not like farm animals. Our daughter Tylar (21 months) adores animals, to her every animal is either a "sssshhheeeeep!" or a "dog dog". She is afraid of NOTHING! Which makes me afraid of everything she does. Tucker (11 months) on the other hand, not too fond of the animals, he will sit back and watch then until they get a little too loud then he falls apart.

This last week in July is my favorite time of the year, FAIR, and I'm making sure my kids love it just as much and their father and I do. Tylar is already a huge fan. Tucker is working on it. My favorite part of fair week is the food, of course! You will soon learn how much I love to bake/eat!! let me list my top list of fair foods
1.Cinnamon roll
2.Taco salad
3.Corn dog
4.Funnel cake
5.twist ice cream cone
That is the list I start my week off with and once I get every single one of them I'm good for a whole year! :)

I am going to draw this blog to an end, but I will soon be back, I have a few recipes I have to share, I usually do sweets only, but a rare occasion I have some dinner recipes.
